Nepali team going to Bangladesh for PPA of 40 MW electricity export

Kathmandu. The Nepali representative team is going to Dhaka tomorrow, Wednesday, with a proposal for a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the export of 40 megawatts of electricity from Nepal to Bangladesh.

Nepal is going to enter into a PPA with Bangladesh to export electricity from next monsoon. For that, a team including Executive Director of Electricity Authority Kulman Ghising is going to Bangladesh.

According to the Electricity Authority, Nepal has proposed to Bangladesh to provide electricity from 8 rupees 96 paisa to 9 rupees 28 paisa per unit.
